With huge competition in appliances & home décor, plus the constraint of the site not being ecommerce ready, it was important to make our client the go-to retailer for all home appliance and furniture purchases.

APPROACH

We started by creating geo-targeted campaigns on areas close to the 30 participating retailers. By using radius targeting in Adwords, we concentrated our messages to viewers in driving distance of physical stores.

The Process

Managing a keyword list for hundreds of products ( especially if some of them are no longer available or removed from the website), can be a complex task. We used the power of Dynamic Search Ads (DSA) to complement our regular search campaigns to facilitate the advertisements of hundreds of SKUs.

To drive effective calls to the business, we set up Google Call Extensions and Website Call Tracking. This gave us the ability to tie received calls to our advertising campaigns and see if users were taking the desired actions.

With continuous campaign optimizations, we lowered the cost per conversion by 60.67% Additionally,
we increased the number of conversions and conversion rate by more than 180% on average for all retailers; all within 5 weeks!
